Shantymen of Mahone Bay 7:30 pm Dockside Performance, Indian Point Government Wharf 8:00 pm Alongside Performance, Bluenose II 9:30 pm Fireworks (please warn your dog friends) Let’s get out and welcome Bluenose II as she sails among our islands and drops anchor in Indian Point! Cruise or sail past; Stroll along Indian Point Road and enjoy the spectacular sight. For those who’d like to get a taste for what they’ll be singing – the Shantymen will give a free dockside performance at the Indian Point government wharf. Once the Bluenose ll anchor has been dropped and her sails furled, the Shantymen of Mahone Bay will motor out to sing their raucous shanties to the Captain and crew. Boat safe, be aware of your wake and give the Bluenose II a wide berth. She needs space to maneuver. Schedule dependent on weather and wind. |
