The MARTINS RIVER INVITATIONAL is on Saturday, September 5th 2020
It will be a Pursuit Syle Race.The regatta is open to all monohull sailing boats with a Nova Scotia PHRF handicap, to one design fleets and to sailing dinghies and other small open boats. The racing will be followed by the first ever Martins River VENETIAN NIGHT.
There is no charge but boats MUST register on-line here

The pursuit style starting sequence for each class will be published on line by 1100 on Friday, September 4, 2020 and sent to all registered boats.
VENETIAN NIGHT Modeled on the Christmas boat parade in Venice, Italy. It is a parade of light decorated boats moving past a light decorated shoreline!
1. Decorate your Boat with lights…be as creative as you can
2. If you have a dock or shoreline…light that up too
3. We will assemble the boats at the mouth of Martins River at 1945hrs (just prior to dusk) and start a leisurely procession up river to the top of the channel. We will go around a few times just so we get the full effect of the lights.
