Let celebrate the Bluenose ll for two days!
For the ASPEN CUP, we have created a new course that includes Bluenose ll !!!!!
Weather forecast: https://www.windfinder.com/forecast/mahone_bay
As Mahone Bay does have the infamous Strum shoal, we believe that Bluenose ll is anchored well enough away so that our fleet can sail around the ship. Please note that Strum shoal lies between The Red Buoy (Channel marker M70) and Cardinal buoy MHA. It will be low tide at 1900hrs. Please stay clear of Bluenose ll
Please check-in with the Committee on VHF Channel 72 or as you go by the wharf before the race. Please keep clear of boat traffic. and moored boats.
